David M. Bailey

David Bailey began his real estate career with Commercial Carolina in 1985. Subsequently he along with several other real estate professionals began a small boutique firm focusing on retail development and tenant representation. In 1995   he   rejoined Commercial Carolina and opened the Charlotte office. David remains today as Broker in Charge and office manager.

Today David represents a wide range of office tenants as they acquire office space in the Charlotte region. David has represented firms such as Ford Motor Company, New York Life, Jefferies Bank, Bayer and Dow Chemical. One of his largest transactions was with GM Onstar where he saved the client over three million dollars on a new lease. David and his team are consistently one of the largest office brokerage teams in the region at times representing one third of all the brokered transactions in the city.

David is married with two children and is a lifelong Charlotte resident. He was educated in the public school system in Charlotte and has a BSBA degree from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. He is a lifelong member of Myers Park Methodist Church where he has taught Sunday School for preschoolers. Additionally he has been active in several charities in the area.
