Gavin Walsh joined Commercial Carolina Corporation in 2006.  Since joining the company, Gavin has negotiated leases for tenants and landlords, located development opportunities, and negotiated land contracts for developers throughout the Charlotte region.

Gavin specializes in retail leasing with a focus on tenant and landlord representation in mixed-use developments and power centers.  Additionally, he assists landlords with various development, acquisition and disposition tasks.  Given his market knowledge in the Carolinas and the state of the retail market, several investors and developers have retained Gavin for activities ranging from locating joint venture equity partners to sourcing off market investment and redevelopment opportunities.

Gavin received a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a special concentration in Real Estate from Western Michigan University.  A licensed real estate broker in North Carolina, South Carolina and Michigan, he began his real estate career with Channel Partners, LLC in Detroit where his responsibilities included landlord and tenant representation.  Entrepreneurial in nature, Gavin enjoys spearheading new projects and initiating stakeholder activities across disciplines for developers, investors and tenants alike.  Outside of work, Gavin takes pleasure in staying fit by exercising and white water rafting.
