John Coleman joined the Charlotte office of Commercial Carolina as Senior Vice President, Brokerage Services, in August 2004.  Prior to joining Commercial Carolina, Mr. Coleman spent sixteen years in various executive positions including Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain Management with Lagasse, Inc., a division of United Stationers Supply where he managed a corporate industrial real estate portfolio of 2 million square feet in 25 distribution markets.

PARTIAL CLIENT LIST/RECENT TRANSACTIONS

• Investment Sale: Represented AT&T in the sale of a 210,000 SF Office Building in the University Research Park in Charlotte, NC; secured an investment group for purchase with a partial leaseback at a 21% premium to forecasted valuation.
  
  
• ·Industrial: Represented ITW (Illinois Tool Works) in the sale of a 108,000 SF Industrial Manufacturing Plant in Charlotte, NC; secured corporate user for full price sale of the site.
  
  
• Represented Room & Board Inc, in the Build to Suit and lease of a 150,000 SF National Distribution Center in Lincoln County, NC; Commercial Carolina addressed R&B’s concern for future operational flexibility by providing multiple expansion options, including building expansion and adjacent property options.

AWARDS

John is a member of several warehousing industry groups including the Institute for Supply Management, the Charlotte Board of Commercial Realtors, and was awarded CRCBR Deal Maker of the Year 2007 Award.

John is a graduate of Louisiana State University, with a B.A. in History.  He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of North Carolina.
