Elliott G. Honeycutt, II is President/Director of Business Development with Commercial Carolina. Mr. Honeycutt specializes in representing both landlords and tenants in their office space objectives in the Research Triangle Office Market. Additionally, Mr. Honeycutt has extensive experience the disposition of institutional grade office buildings in the Triangle market. Mr. Honeycutt has seventeen years of experience in commercial real estate and has represented many institutional companies. Prior to becoming an office broker, Mr. Honeycutt was with the Financial Services Group for Cushman & Wakefield. In 1996, Mr. Honeycutt received the Ready award for the top office lease. He represented Blue Cross and Blue Shield North Carolina in their lease negotiations on 229,000 square feet of office space in Durham.

During the past two years, Mr. Honeycutt along with his partners have negotiated more than 1.5 million square feet of transactions ranging in size from 2,500 square feet to more than 113,000 square feet. Recently, the team represented Wachovia in the disposition of a 97,000-square-foot Data Center in Raleigh, and CNF Foods in the purchase of a 100,000 square foot, SpectraSite in their lease and subsequent purchase of an 113,000 square foot building and the adjacent building pad. Mr. Honeycutt is currently working on a 262,000 square foot office building disposition for Ericsson.

Mr. Honeycutt received his BA from North Carolina State University with a major Business Administration and a minor in Economics. Mr. Honeycutt is a member and past President of the Triangle Area Office Building Association. Mr. Honeycutt is very active in a number of civic and charitable causes.
