Raymond M. Conforti

Mr. Conforti has more than 30 years of real estate experience with a specialization in investment sales and leasing. He joined Commercial Carolina Corporation in September 2005. Commercial Carolina Corporation is the founding firm in the Cushman & Wakefield’s Alliance Program, which formed in 2001.

Ray has held senior level positions in brokerage; with multinational corporations and with state government. Most recently, he was with Royal & SunAlliance USA for 14 years as Director of US Real Estate. Prior to Royal, Ray was the VP, US Real Estate Management, with Barclays Bank plc in New York. During his long real estate career, he has closed sales and leasing transactions in excess of $1 billion across the US, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Ray has leased, subleased, sold or purchased real estate in every major US market and the majority of the secondary markets in the US. Past clients have included Wachovia Securities, Hercules, Inc., State of New York, John Hancock Financial Services and the US Postal Service. 

Mr. Conforti received a BS in Chemistry from Fordham University and an MS in Environmental Engineering from New York University.  He is a licensed real estate broker in North and South Carolina and New York. He lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and child.
