Skipper Day joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1984 as an office leasing broker. Mr. Day specializes in representation of individuals and corporations in achieving their real estate objectives throughout the Raleigh, Durham, Cary and Research Triangle Park area. In 1998, Mr. Day received the REDY Award for top office lease in the market. He represented GTE in their lease negotiation for a 124,000 square foot office building. In 2000, Mr. Day and his partner received the REDY Award for the second top office deal in representing SpectraSite in their negotiations for 113,000 square feet of office space. In 2002, Mr. Day was awarded the top dollar referral by the Carolinas Chapter of SIOR. Mr. Day has represented corporations with the disposition of their real estate holdings such as Wachovia, Equitable Real Estate Management, and Retirement Ventures. Mr. Day received his BS degree from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. He is a member of the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors. He is involved as a volunteer with several charitable organizations and youth athletic teams. He serves on several committees at Ravencroft H.S. in Raleigh and is the past President of the Alumni Association.
