Sledd Thomas started his commercial real estate career in 2001 by joining The Real Estate Firm, Inc. as a commercial broker. Coming from a 20 year background in real estate appraising, he performed appraisal work for a variety of special clients in addition to multiple banking clients in the Chapel Hill, Durham, Orange, Chatham and Wake County markets.

His past and current transactions as either listing agent or buyer/tenant representative vary in size and scope and include out parcels, industrial, flex, office and warehouse buildings, agricultural tracts. He represented Pro-Build Company, LLC in a lease with an option to purchase a 92,000 sq. ft. industrial building in Fayetteville, N.C. He most recently helped represent the owner of an 88,100 sq. ft. industrial building in Zebulon, NC in a lease. His main focus is leasing and sales, which include land, multi-family complexes, income producing properties, industrial and office buildings.

Mr. Thomas holds his CCIM designation (Commercial Certified Investment Member). Sledd holds a Masters Degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a graduate of Warren Wilson College. Additionally he holds his North Carolina Real Estate Broker and State-Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser Licenses.

He is active in civic and community organizations and attends church in Pittsboro, NC. Additionally, he holds his General Aviation Private Pilot’s License in the Single Engine Land Category.
